What we do.

Six ways we support schools, educators and young people — every engagement funding our non-profit mission.

01

Mentoring

  • Ages 13–18, UK-wide
  • Rolling applications
  • 1:1 expert matching
  • Free of charge

The ICAI Mentorship Programme pairs young innovators with mentors from our network of developers, researchers, lawyers and strategists. Together they shape an idea into an ethical AI proposal — with expert feedback, structured sessions and opportunities to showcase and prototype outstanding work.

Formerly the UK's national youth AI challenge, the programme now runs year-round on a rolling application basis, so young people can join whenever they're ready.

02

Governance & frameworks

  • AI readiness audits
  • Policy development
  • Benchmarked frameworks
  • UNESCO-aligned

We help institutions assess current practice against established benchmarks and frameworks, producing clear audit reports that highlight where AI is being used responsibly and where the opportunities for growth lie.

From governance structures to safeguarding-first AI policies, we give leadership teams the clarity and confidence to adopt AI compliantly and ethically.

Strategy

  • Bespoke to your context
  • Staged roadmaps
  • Leadership advisory

Every institution is unique in its culture, ethos and resources. We build bespoke digital and AI strategies around yours — a clear, staged route from where you are to where you want to be, grounded in pedagogy rather than technology for its own sake.
